The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) asked qualified people to apply online for several Group B and C positions.
The employment board put out a detailed notice that listed many jobs, including Nursing Officer (NO) or Sister Grade 2, Storekeeper, Stenographer, Operation Theatre Assistant, Receptionist, MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician), Sanitary Inspector, and more. A total of 1680 people will be chosen for these jobs.
The people in charge of hiring have announced the right time to apply online for the SGPGIMS Group B & C Recruitment 2024. From June 8, 2024, to June 25, 2024, people who meet the school requirements can apply online.

Criteria for Education
- Nursing Officer (Sister Grade-2): People who want to be Nursing Officers must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from an approved college or university. You can also be qualified if you have a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) and have worked in a hospital with at least 50 beds for two years after getting your degree.
- For Other Positions—To be eligible for other Group B and C jobs, like storekeeper, stenographer, OT assistant, receptionist, medical lab technologist, and others, you need to have certain education and/or experience connected to the job. The job posting will include a list of specific skills needed for each position.
Limit on Age
General rules say that people applying for different jobs should be between the ages of 18 and 40 unless they are in a category that allows them to be younger.
Fee for Application
For candidates from the general, OBC, and EWS categories: ₹1180
For candidates from the SC/ST/PWD categories: ₹708
You can use the payment options on the application site to pay these fees online. The fee can’t be returned, and you must pay it to finish the application process.
Process of Choosing
- Written Exam: Those who want the job must pass a written test that checks their understanding and suitability for the job.
- Document Verification: People who pass the written test will have their documents checked to make sure they are real.
- Medical Exam: Finally, candidates whose documents are verified have to go through a medical exam to make sure they are healthy enough for the job.
